I saw this wonderful photo in the National Geographic Magazine today and knew I had to share it! It was taken in Florida by James Snyder. The details read:
"One evening Snyder noticed something bizarre in his backyard: A frog hugging a mango tree had swallowed a Christmas light! The 29 year old snapped his shot then worked to free the frog."
This blog tells you the stories behind my silver and aluminum creations - namely: why the design came to me; what inspired me; what story is connected to the piece; how the piece starts a new story etc. The stories add so much more to the piece and continue to develop as the piece goes to it's new owner.
I also tell you a little about my life in the wine country of Sonoma County, California and my husband writes once a month about what is happening in our vineyard that month.
I hope you'll come back regularly. I look forward to your comments.

hahaha pooor frog! he must have thought it was an insect. Makes a great picture!
On Facebook I thought it was a string of plastic frog lights. This is hysterical! Poor baby. Hope he found a nice juicy mosquito to make up for it.
That is truly amazing. I love the photo— and the happy ending!
