Sunday's spotlight - a picture blog

By guest blogger Pete

This is going to be a picture blog this week.  Hope you like it.  When Pam and I were in Carnforth two weeks ago, Pam bought a jigsaw (she's more than a little addicted to them).  This purchase was made at the Carnforth Railway Visitors' Centre and the lady there gave Pam a calendar saying, "Please take one of these and help us to get rid of them".   How sad.  I was very taken by the pen and colour illustrations in that calendar by Myra Weir, thinking that they illustrate very well the area of Northern Lancashire and its surrounds.  Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
