Flowers disappearing

I went to cut some flowers for a vase today....and there was a distinct lack of fresh flowers..... Ah - how sad.......There will be more roses soon and a few other things...but the flowers are disappearing. Guess that is what fall is all about...

So, here are some of my old flowers too. When I started making jewelry, I did alot of flowers - especially fuschias...so here is a garden of silver flowers... (hmmmm - very different style photography!!!).

But it's interesting to look back at what you used to do and how you used to do it and hopefully to see how you've progressed.....

it is indeed interesting to look back. Looking at your flowers you can see a progression but that does not mean that the older flowers are less pretty or sophisticated. Actually there are a couple there that are absolutely gorgeous and I had never seen them before...

We've had such a bad summer that all flowers have been pretty small and lasted nothing. Last year I had a huge bed of zinnias, which I love because they are so colorful, but this year they dont seem to grow... too cold, too damp, not enought sun!

I did just make one in bronze - and just sold it today! I also helped my cousin make a lovely flower when she was here. I have been trying to encourage her to write about it on my blog...but no news yet. Maybe I'll have to nag her again!!
