Home is where the heart is
Well yes, maybe a little sentimental - but I'm hoping my "home is where the heart is" design has a little twist on things by making it a lariat necklace. The heart hangs through the home and there is a little hook on the back of the home so that you can keep the chain at a particular length.
I think lariats are more an autumn, winter type of jewelry. Don't know what anyone else thinks, but personally I like them over jumpers/sweaters and more summery clothes seem to get in the way of them a bit....
So with autumn and winter approaching fast.......bear lariats in mind as an adornment for your plain sweaters.

What a clever design, and I appreciate the tip about lariets. I never thought about them as seasonal, but I think you've got something there.
What I like about your jewellery is not only the obvious very skil craftmanship, but also the meaning behind everything. You dont just make a little house, you make something that has a bit og thought behind... adds a lot to it.
To tell you the truth I dont own ONE lariat. Dont know why... I just dont... should keep it in mind!
How about your blog idea? lots of feedback.. or is it just me annoying everyone??
By the way, your project over at DaWanda... project, idea... about tutoring new shops... admin is taking for ever... but people (at least 3) have contacted me for help... so, it was a very good idea.
Maybe we need to start a "lariat promotion month" or something to encourage them! I had never had one until I made one - but I the lariat style now.....
Thank you both for your nice comments.
Marian
Glad you are being contacted by Dawanda people also......I have been doing some mentoring but the next three weeks are really busy for me....I wish admin would set up a program to spread it all out a little! Maybe one day....
The blog merry go round seems like it's generating interest.....lots of differing ideas - which is good - but also tricky!!! Hopefully it will all go well once we start and get into it.
Glad you are part of it.
Same here, never ownwed a lariat until recently, made one and absolutely love the style now. Summer: doubled up on bare skin; winter: great addition to any sweater. Wouldn't be without!
